Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS)
Stevenson Automotive Group is pleased to announce its designation as a major participant in the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS), formally known as "Cash For Clunkers".

President Obama has signed the CARS Act and it will be effective July 1 2009. This will give consumers who trade in an old "clunker" a guaranteed trade amount of $3,500 or $4,500.
We encourage all car buyers in North Carolina and surrounding states to call and get your trade-in information and paperwork submitted. This way you can be first in line for rebate money. The sponsors of the bill had requested 4 billion dollars in funding but were granted only 1 billion dollars. Time is money so act quickly.
The program ends November 1, 2009 or as soon as the $1 Billion funding mark has been reached, we anticipate this to occur much sooner than the expiration date .
